I've owned an Onkyo tx-ds797 receiver for a few years now, and have used its programmable remote, the rc-460m for all my devices since I purchased the unit. However I recently purchased a Samsung DVD player (model# HD841) and I cannot program the player into my rc-460m remote. There is no code for the DVD player in the manual. Also, the RC-460m will not 'learn' the functions of the DVD player's remote. This is the first device I've had that my RC-460m will not 'learn'. In the manual it reads that some remotes' signals are not 'learnable' with the RC-460m. I'm wondering why this is, and if there is anyway to get a pre-programmed code for the samsung dvd player that i can put into my rc-460m even though there is none in the manual (there is codes for samsung TVs, VCRs, etc...but no DVD). If this is not possible, then perhaps someone could recommend a new universal remote that will not have any problems learning ANY other remote's signals.

Thanks for any input.
