Ok! Now THAT sounds it might be a problem. Is there any database anywhere that can tell me what frequency this thing uses?

Does it use that 455 Khz frequency for /just/ the volume? Because everything else was "learnable" by the remotes except that.

What remotes have you tried it with?

Too many---I don't remember them. Some sony. A philips I think, a one4all, and some others, but I remember no model numbers since I've given them all away. Can you think of any that would do the job?
