I have a Kenwood Receiver KR-V6080, with the factory remote RC-R0502.
That remote works fine.
HOWEVER, when I use any kind of 3rd party all-in-one or learning remote
everything works except the volume. It just sits still. I've tried 4
remotes, 2 were learning from the working remote!
Does the kenwood listen to multiple frequencies, or sonics or something else
that the standard remotes don't "do" ?
I'm trying to tame an audio-video system that has grown out of control an
inch at a time.
