I have recently installed the new(?) Comcast DRV (Motorola DCT6412). It included a Comcast DVR remote (will only support up to 3 devices) The device info is here [Link: broadband.motorola.com] and the remote info is here [Link: comcast.com]. There is no information on the remote other than Comcast and various patent numbers. I also have a JVC HDZ575 TV, Onkyo HTS-706 and Toshiba DVD. I would love to have a single remote control collapse the TV, receiver, DVD and, most importantly, the Comcast/Motorola DCT6412 DVR (tivo like). The Comcast remote simply doesn't have the device capacity or features to do what each device requires. I was considering the Logitech Harmony 688 based on it's tivo support (I have this too but intend on replacing it with the Comcast solution instead) and macro functions (plus reasonable cost) Is there something that can do what the Comcast remote does + support my other devices?
