Thanks John, I had no idea what MakeHex, IRPanels,Protocols etc was. Thebest way to learn is by doing (even if not understanding why) So I downloaded and created the 256 codes.
AND HERE THE STUPID QUESTION: For some reason between MakeHex input and IRPanels output the "0016"s become "0015". As I have no clue what the numbers mean I don't know if this is a problem. Why have all 0015 become 0016? As I'm for the first time editing Hex, I followed the instructions but don't really understand what I'm doing. I will try them out tonight anyway and see what happens. Hopefully I won't send some Autodestruct command to the Sat receiver...
Second question:Is ther any good link in this site to comprehensive HexEditing introduction for dummies? I kind of got interested in learning some more.
