Thanks for the replies. I will check out the links as soon as a get a moment. The remote my wife picked up is the Sima SUR-20 - I didn't find anything about it on this site at first, until I noticed that it is exactly the same as the UCommand 515, I believe.

I had looked into touch screen universal remotes a couple of years ago, and at the time, I was interested in the Pronto. I still am, but then again, if this one will do everything I need it to it is certainly cheaper than the Pronto. The Sony's are also decent looking, and not much more than the Sima, so that would also be an option. I really like the graphical capability of the Pronto - though I know they are a lot more work to set up.

The units I currently have are Sony TV (27" - nothing special) though I hope to get a wide-screen before too long. I have a Sony VCR and a Sony DVD carousel, and use all Yamaha Home Theater components.
