After considerable research I just purchased a new Sony RM-AV3100 "Remote Commander". and after spending about seven very frustrating hours attempting to read and understand the manual and spending a few hours on the phone with the Sony Idiots, who know absolutely nothing about their products, and finding that I apparently have a defective unit, I am returning it.

I am now interested in the Sunwave SRC-3810 as reveiewed here but cannot find a place to buy one. The only seller seems to be Avsmarts @$113.95 but they do not have the item. Can anyone advise me as to whether this is a better unit than the Sony and where to purchase one.
