Before anyone can help, you need to supply the model number of the camcorder. A URL to its manual on the internet would be a big help, too.

Look at the instructions for the camera to be sure it is recording as you think it is. Since you already have a suggested answer, being to convert from mini DVD to Mpeg, you need to read the instructions to see if that is something that can be done.

Check the manual for the disc drive in your computer to see if it will play mini DVDs in the VR format.

Be scrupulously accurate in what you report. You say
when i put the disc in my computer, nothing happens.

Do you mean exactly that? I assume the drawer closes because you speak of the disc being in the computer. But if NOTHING happens, then the drive doesn't spin up to try to read the disc, you don't get any error messages, and if you do, you need to tell us what it is.

Often times, the answer to a question such as this emerges when you pin down every detail. An engineer tells a story on himself of a time when he had a design question and felt he had to ask the chief engineer, whom he respected and almost feared. When he had his question ready, he looked at it to see if that engineer would come back with a question like "what model is your camera?" (in your case here). Well, as he refined and refined the question, looking up everything he could think of so the chief engineer would not think he was asking a foolish question, he actually figured out the answer.

Also, reread and correct your typos. I almost didn't look at this because I don't know what a "mocie" is. You can go back to the original post and correct the typo in the thread title by going into the edit mode.

Oh, yeah, speaking of being scrupulously accurate, you have no idea now whether you have the problem that is the title of this thread. Until you can get the discs to play, you can't possibly know if you have a problem storing them on the hard drive. And that could be a whole other problem.
