I searched and found a few threads on the Weemote3, but they really didn't help me, so I'm going to ask here. Hope that's ok!

I just got 2 Weemote 3's from Ebay. In trying to determine the code of the Weemote, it doens't seem to match up w/ what's listed on the WEemote site. There is no sticker on the inside battery cover door, and the only thing printed under the batteries is 2002 and 41. That doesn't even match what is supposed to be for older Weemotes.

Now, I heard some older Weemote 2's were reprogrammed into Weemote 3's. Wondering if this is one of them. I had one of those last year but everything worked fine.

I have an RCA TV, and a Scientific Atlanta set top cable box.

Here are my questions.....

1. Can I program my weemote for 4 digits?? Between the last Weemote and this one, our cable company (Optimum of Hauppague, NY) added channel 1000, (which is for DVR). So now all channels have 1 or 2 spaces in front.

2. The Enter/OK option. I DON'T need this option if I can program for 4 digits. If I put 7, I can either wait or press enter. (same for 07, 007) If I put 0007, it goes automatically. HOWEVER, the Enter/OK option either doesn't work, or the channels go into the box, but don't change the channel. Any ideas?

Hope there's a WEemote expert out there that can help me! Thanks so much!
