Sure, it can't learn RF. I don't need that. I do want to control my DVD/VCR from the bedroom, as I have wired the house so I can watch from there. And no, it can't learn IR per say, but it seems like the One For All folk are quite responsive to adding stuff. Yeah it takes a bit for turn around, but for $50, I still think it is a deal. The only thing close is the SL-9000, and I don't think they spent much time designing the look of that hunk of plastic. It looks like it came from the '80s. Now if you have a $10,000+ home theater, no, I don't think this is the solution. But for a more basic system (mine is around $3000), it will do the job.
