Pioneer use their own codes, so if Pioneer isn't listed it most likely means that this remote doesn't support Pioneer DVDs, which would be surprising given that it's quite a popular brand, but what can you do.
OEM remotes are not typically very good as universal remotes, so I would recommend that you get a real universal remote. My personal preference is for "One For All" brand remotes, but there are many others for you to chose from.
