i have a practically unbranded universal remote control. i bought it from a corner shop about a year ago. cost less than £10 and is very basic. the instructions for the remote were on the packaging which is now lost! the only branding is "Best One 7 in 1 Universal Remote Control". i remember that you had to press the "s" (which illuminates and flashes) key at the top together with the TV button to start programming for the TV etc. the rest is a blur.

I was wandering if anyone else has come into contact with remote controls similar to this and maybe they have an idea of where to start in figuring out how to automatic search with my TV, HiFi etc.
