I'm not a Mac guy, so forgive me if this is a stupid question. Are you running some sort of Windows 98 emulation in order to run Tonto? If so, there is a dll (not a part of Tonto) which causes a failed download (in Win 98) approximately half the time. This would require "undead" to get your remote back up and running. This problem doesn't occur in Windows XP, nor have I seen it mentioned regarding the Mac version of Tonto.
