I assume you mean a constant reboot? Hyperterminal normally works fine, the only other method (that you haven't tried) is that you could try Tonto. It's a 3rd party alternative to Pronto Edit/Touch Screen Setup, and is available here: [Link: giantlaser.com].

After installing, select your remote type, and from the toolbar choose "remote" and then "undead remote". Follow the instructions.
