I cannot get this to work my TV. I have spent two days trying now, going by the book, doing what it tells me to do, at one time I could change channels but had no volume and could not switch the TV off ---- now i have NOTHING!!!

I have a Grundig TV and a Pace Satellite (Sky) receiver.

HELPPPP please I am going mad (an idiots guide to how to get this working will be most appreciated)
