Thanks - tried all that but no joy.

My system is as follows:

Apple iMac 800MHz Power PC G4
Apple OSX.3.9
Virtual PC7 for Mac / Windows XP Professional
Keyspan serial to USB connector no: USA-19QW
Philips Pronto RU970

The COM set up suggested above isn't in my version of Windows so I couldn't do as you suggested. The USB settings are different too, all I am offered is the option of Modem or Serial.

It's all very confusing. I do remember it being difficult on my old Mac laptop but at least it worked. Can't get it to do anything now, and as I say it won't even load my old .ccf files. Any more suggestions before I ditch the Pronto and get a Logitech Harmony 885 (that is Mac compatible)?
