if you dont want to invest in countless hours programming
and scanning dvd covers then having to resize them....WAYYY....tooo
much time... if you can afford the mx-3000 then spend
the 100 bucks for the dmx software you also get genre
browsing...its 1000 times faster then creating your own
thumbnails!
Not that much work really. I programmed the macro once and usually have my images of DVD covers from DVD profiler (and a macro in Thumbs Plus to resize images from DVD profiler). If DVD Profiler doesn't have the image then I would be scanning and submitting it to them anyway. With an organized workflow, it doesn't take that long to update the MX-3000. LOL, it's DVD Profiler that is the time consumming step with new DVDs. :-)
Genre browsing is not that big a deal to me and I move thumbnails from page to page to organize them as I like.
