I have the MX-3000 to control my CX995V without any problems. I've generated thumbnails of each DVD and if I want to watch a DVD, I scroll through the thumbnails until something strikes my fancy. I hit the thumbnail and the MX-3000 takes it from there.

I usually download the covers (if not available, I scan them), resize them in ThumbsPlus (almost any graphics that can run a batch will do the job). I've got my macro programmed so all I have to do is enter the slot number for each thumbnail while editing on my PC. So no way I'm spending the $$$ on the DMX-3000 software. Nothing wrong with it, I just don't need it.

L8r,
Don
When in doubt, mumble.
