I saw a reference to Touch Screen Setup on one of the Tonto Project website. I don't think I ever used it. Does TSS use the same emulator as ProntoEdit?
I did install ProntoEdit. I was thinking about comparing it with Tonto. They look very similar. Other than one being windows based and one Java based, it hard to see much functional difference.
Sorry, but since I am a nosey guy, I already tried this. When I get a new version of program like Tonto, I look at all the menus and preferences. I did find a slot for a TSU2000 emulator and saw the ProntoEmulator.exe in the PE folders. I browsed to it and tried it. It seemed to work. I wasn't sure if I could mix and match like that. Thanks for your suggestion. Now I know for sure Tonto and the emulator should get along together.
Well I just loaded, edited, saved, exited, reloaded, both PE and Tonto half a dozen times. In other words, normal tasks, but PE keeps locking up. Looks like I'll have to stick with Tonto!!
