Eric, At present, I believe the macro has to live in the macro section on the remote. Although I have done little programming via the on screen interface, I am fairly certian that this is true. However, no dispare, the ProntoEdit PC software allows macros under any key anywhere so I suggect that you create the macor now then once you're PC software equiped, upload the existing file into ProntoEdit and move the macro to another key as desired. I'm very glad this worked for you. Pronto on!
