The latest version of ProntoEdit allows the captured IR code to be opened up in a text window. It's formatted as a list of hex numbers, and can be copied & pasted (and edited, though it's in an internal format that I don't think we're planning to document). That's how I've been posting IR codes in some of the other threads here.

To the best of my knowledge, this is the final version, and will be posted on the web site in January.
