Thanks for the responses.
Now I have a decision to make...
I have to decide if it's worth it to get rid of the 90ESG (and 20 Watts/channel) and beg my AV dealer to trade me for an 80ES, probably/definitely at a loss, so I can buy a $400 dollar remote Kick Ass remote...

I wonder why the 90ESG does not work. I figured IR was IR and as long as a remote can reproduce the signals sent out by the original remote then it Should Work!!! This little fiasco has me really pi**ed off at Sony....

Does anyone know of a way to "read" what the original remote is sending out (frequency, uniqueness, repeat patterns, etc..)?
