What you need is an IR to X-10 controller. I have been looking for one also, but the Radio Shacks near me don't have them. I know there is one available on the net for about $29. Regarding the required IR commands, I believe the codes will be available free at Prontoedit.com - no need to buy the remote for the IR to X-10 controller just to get the codes).
