Can second the fact that Samsung has not fixed the issue with WOL as of Dec. '23

Had a job with a 75" Frame TV with a URC MRX5 Processor programmed in Accelerator 3 and spent a day and half working through different combinations of macros hoping to be able to utilize the discrete Art Mode On/OFF commands available via IP and it proved to be so unreliable that it forced us to fallback on IR just to get the set to power on and off and select an input.

Mind you this is with a 3rd party outside enterprise network admin and a system comprised solely of Meraki Network Gear so the excuse that there was a configuration blocking WOL simply does not hold any sway here.

Samsung could not be bothered in the least that their IP is wonky as all heck given that a tiny segment of their target market for the Frame will be utilizing integration in the operation of their TVs. Basically their attitude is they have a fail rate of 50% that's good enough for them and no need to extend themselves any since only a small number of integrators are having this issue and at the end of the day it hardly registers on their total volume of global sales.
