I had an odd one a couple days ago, Blu-ray and dish receiver play fine into a Samsung television, straight 4 m HDMI cables for all.
The Roku sits behind the TV with a 1 m cable and it’s black screen. Unplug the HDMI plug it back in it will go all day. Switch to dish and back to Roku, black screen. tried a few different resolutions out of the Roku. I would say the TV is less than three years old now.
Randomly, I was switching the cables to different inputs of the Samsung and the Roku worked on the one input, I think it was a HDMI2, and I think it was marked MHL.

There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions. |
