Problem solved.
Updating from v1.0.33 to v1.4.7 doesn't work.
Updating from v1.0.33 to v1.1.36 works.
Updating from v1.1.36 to v1.4.7 works.
In other words, it seems you need to do each extender firmware update in order, you can't skip an update.
p.s. still haven't solved the player control problem
Although this post was made more than a decade a go, I am having the same problem. My issue now is I can no longer find
v1.1.36 that will download anywhere on this site to make the sequence of firmware updates needed to bring my RFX9600 to v1.4.7. If anyone has
v1.1.36 uploading it to active files would be great. Thanks
