I would like to keep this discussion related only to IR control please. I have a URC MX 780 and have spent a lot of time programming on CCP. I don't want to deviate from the original question please.

That's because there is none. There is no device on the market like what you are wanting. And with the industry moving away from IR control, you likely never will.
There is an option. Many people like you have built there own device to do what you are wanting. You'll need a Raspberry PI, FLIRC, plugin 'triggerhappy', and a few other things.
But... if you are complaining about programming in CCP (which is child's play), you are probably going to be lost trying to build this and get it to work. You also will probably have to look to other forums, as not to many people here dig deep into the DIY stuff - save JP1 stuff for OneForAll remotes.
