I'm using Global Caché. This is the 32" Frame TV. There is no network port or RS-232. I'd much rather use RS-232.

I have verified that if I hold the remote's power button for a few seconds the TV will go into standby without artwork.

I'll be onsite tomorrow and I'll jigger the Global Caché repeats. I suspect that there is a timing issue between commands. Maybe I'm sending them too fast.

Samsung supports USB to serial adapters for RS232 Control.

All Current Samsung frame TV's(As well as previous gen or 2) support full Network Control over Wifi. they even support Wake on WiFi
