this thread was my first stop when my ru9980 died recently , ive been limping along with the google tv remote but found a friendly installer so i could source a procontrol remote and the software.

it is just like pronto edit , except easier !

select devices from library , then create remote and choose Auto .

almost everything is done for you

eg volume is via amp , channel is dependant on device , as per arrows etc .

works really well !

all i needed to do is correct a couple of discrete power codes, and change the receiver input selection.

so good , and now modern and colourful !

a plus is the procontrol has a bunch of hard buttons which improves the WAF (wife acceptance factor)

with their RF/lan unit they even offer 2 way sonos control ! (with the 24Z remote )
