I agree with you 100% that he's a scammer and to not send him any gear. He sent back my Pioneer last week. As soon as I unpacked it, I pulled off the cover and saw that everything was original. Granted, he did clean the backplate and the receiver seemed to be in good working order again, but it was nowhere near the total re-cap that he advertised and certainly not worth the $450 that I paid and waited nearly 5 months to get it returned. I took photos of it with the cover removed, but I'm not sure how to post them here. Anyone could see that he hardly touched the inside of the receiver. I'm just hoping that nothing else fails on it so that I need to bring it to a local tech for service.
