I have an 85" Samsung QN85Q950TSFXZA on the way that will be a retrofit install (no TV currently in this room). This TV has the One Connect box and I've got the wiring issues sorted out, but not sure about the physical mounting.

Using the No Gap mount and Samsung dealer site docs show that it uses four small wall attached brackets that interface with the back of the TV to hold it on the wall so you lay it out using a template taped to the wall.

My concern is that I won't have studs or blocking in the right places to center the TV on the wall. I'm also concerned the wall might not be flat so stopping by later this week to check that.

Has anyone installed one of these yet using the No Gap mount? If so, any advice on what to look out for?
