So you guys were really helpful at [Link: remotecentral.com] in helping me to get an LG TV worked out.

Now I've got a new one: Are there really TVs where you cannot adjust contrast, brightness, color, etc? The TV I was working with in the previous post was the 65UN7300PUF. I've spent more than an hour going through the commands, and while this TV has maybe a dozen video presets, I can't find any place where you can adjust the picture itself.

Is this a new way that TVs are going?

Edit:
Now we're adjusting the set and a whole new set of possibilities comes up -- the regular ones. Fighting with The Pointer (this feature is a dog) just makes it harder to see what's working and what's not with this set. Finally got video okay to the eye, but it looks like there's a thin film over everything.

Wish I didn't have the "features" I've been talking about here.

A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
