what RS232 port are you using and how long is the wire?
There are actually two panels in the project.
1. EA-1 with a 6' cable to the HSIM, and then a 2' run of security cable from the HSIM to the panel.
2. IOX with a 30' cable to the HSIM, and then a 2' run of security cable from the HSIM to the panel.
The issue occurs on both panels (though not at the same.)
