I've never seen this step mentioned in previous threads. Sounds like what I'm looking for. Is PEP1 a program? where to download?

About IrScrutinizer; I get it. It's newer and combines what these other programs do into one. That said, I have to admit, a lot of it seems over my head.

I almost prefer Jasonvp's way of IRTool for device code, modifying .irp file with device code, dragging into makehex and copy pasting into IRPanels.........and finally, hopefully, importing the .ccf into PEP1.

I know its a lot of steps, but, they're easy to do and its the way Jasonvp did them and he was the master around here for a long time.

Not trying to be stubborn, but, if it ain't broke why fix?

That said, I will spend more time learning IrScrutinizer. If that's the way we're going than that's the direction I need to take.
