It is a $600 43"! Is that Entry level at the 800 series?
Clients currently have a dying panasonic plasma in a custom frame I made over ten years ago, so only a 43 will fit in there. There is an old wirepath DVR that replaced a Dedicated Micros video recorder that goes to a extron composite video splitter/ amplifier. Not used a lot, but handy for the wifey when she wants it.
Sony also has the rear IR input, but i cannot remember if that newer model uses the three or two conductor 1/8" plug.
RTI / XP6 controls the house TVs now that the crestronTP6 panels all died.
TCL have discrete input/ power commands? Never used a control system with one
