I was always under the impression that 8 clients was the max authorized on a Genie 2 system. I know for a fact the 7 streams at once hard limit limitation.

So are you saying you can authorize up to 11 clients on a Genie 2 system? I was told from DirecTV that they would not authorize more than 8. Would not be the 1st time the idiots on the phone at DirecTV had no clue what they were saying but I have ran into that more than once.
So I'm curious if you have installs that have more than 8 clients on a Genie 2 system? Or have you only been told you could do more than 8 but haven't tried it yet?
