Sorry, but I can't see how to answer this in a constructive way without referring to grammar.
"I'd" is short for "I would." "Would" and "if" mean that some condition(s) has/have to be met for something to happen. Inherent in that phrasing is that I have not used it, or that I've used it and it didn't meet these criteria. If I had tried it and it did not meet those criteria, I'd be saying "I'd use it if they fixed these problems."
