I can see benefits for those that do the exact thing over and over that charge a flat rate, but we complete some very different jobs at times and need to be competitive and flexible. The reality is that the type of work and cost is different for the 5k square foot home versus the 15k home versus the 10k office building vs the 50k square foot apartment building.
