I think Brent or Jeff B would say over 5m isn't going to happen without an active cable.

Or, it could be an apple thing too. Aren't they having resolution issues as of late.

Do you have a 4k Blu Ray player to sub and test? (because hey, what 4k installation doesn't deserve some troubleshooting time when completed :(
