Can a MSC-400 smart trigger command that is placed on a MX-990 remote be captured/learned as a simple IR command? Now for background as to why in case their another way to accomplish my task.

I’ve got an ISY controlling Insteon and Zwave which is an Echo/Alexa skill. Can the msc smart macro triggers that you drop on MX remote buttons be learned as Ir commands or are they rf only? I want to create programs on the ISY which are invoked by asking Echo/Alexia to run them. The ISY programs would run msc400 smart macros by sending the learned Ir command corresponding to msc smart trigger and perform sophisticated functions.

I’ll need to configure a XP virtual machine etc so hoping someone knows if it’s gonna work before i invest the time configuring for testing.

Thanks
