This is interesting. I do not quote residential projects by "the drop" but, after reading this thread, I was curious to see what my per drop price would be compared to Mike's $140/$160.
My math looks like this:
-$25 for wire (100 feet generic cat6, more for plenum, Belden, direct bury) -$20 for the p-ring, decora plate, keystone, decora cover -$5 for generic "materials" (nail plates, screws, cable staples, zip ties, foam, etc.) -$100 for rough-in labor (1 man hour) -$50 for trim out labor (.5 man hour) -$15 in project management labor (fee: 15% of total labor) -6.5% sales tax
Total installed price for a terminated keystone (at the wall jack only, not including termination on a patch panel at the rack or verification/qualification, etc.) = $ 228.98 or if I round up, $230.
