I had problems with Windows 10 along the way (TSU-9800 here), I gave in, grab VMware player (there is a free version, I think 12). Create a VM of Windows 7 X32, and install everything on there. Or built into Windows 10 pro, there is Hyper-V, this does the same thing (I like VMware because of the portability)

Then you can back it up, be portable and upgrade to any version of Windows 10 with out a problem. All my programs for my remote are on a WIndows 7 VM, Photo editor, Pep2 and Pep3, all my config files.

When I am ready to work on it, load up my VM, kick off full screen and I am on Windows 7 working on the VM (and yes, USB will pass to the VM)
