update: I went in today and tested out the problems. I was able to get audio to play in some of the zones but wasnt able to get it to play in the most important two zones. For some reason, the tps-4l touchpad volume controls are sporadic and often slow. I also found that some devices have duplicate IDs ( A touchpad and a slave controller have ID of 0B, Two QM-AE have ID of 10), I suppose this is causing some problems... Would someone ever have two same IDs for any reason? Could that be causing slow response times? Or could the system just be old and slow...
