Excellent info, guys. Have you and your clients had positive experiences with the RING product line overall?

Ring doorbell and ring doorbell pro are great. Ensure you have good wifi at the button location with the door closed. They can be finicky with wifi. They say it will work with most digital chimes but we are at about a 50% rate of them working and not. Mechanical chimes no problem. When we needed an actual dry contact to trigger automation or whatever, we have used a 24Vac transformer with a 24vac coil relay.

Stay away from the stick up cams. They advertise a 12 month battery life with normal use before needing a recharge but it's more like 3-4 weeks with actual use. Ring defines normal use as 2 motion or live view events per day. Inside or outside, if there is enough action to need a camera, there is likely more than 2 events a day. Client was pissed and had us take them out.

Look forward to trying the floodlight cam.
