You can convert a T2-C to a T2x. Just make a copy of the remote.
I don't remember if you can convert straight to a T2x from a T2-C, or if you have to go T2-C --> T2-C+ --> T2x.
You can convert to a T2i but that remote doesn't let you have overlapping buttons - it's a pain.
