U-verse has done a download where now all their products for U-verse boxes are toggle codes, which means the first IR code you it sees won't be the same as the second you send so if you have a button that has to be pushed twice and you're not using their remote then it won't go through. RTI has toggle codes that you can put in their equipment where it will hit the code and then hit the other code, a workaround for some is to go off of the page or hit a dash or cursor down & then go back up to the selection and hit it again . A big pain to the customer not used to having to work around this crap . XM radio did this type of code over 10 years ago and I'm not sure even why for what benefits it has .
