I've gotten numb to the entire thing. The shootings have become just another platform for the extremists on both sides to promote their insanity.

Those against guns say all guns should be taken away. CA is in the process of making licensed concealed arms illegal near schools and some nitwit pointed out that would have prevented the latest massacre (it wouldn't have).

The pro gun nitwit answer was we need more guns at schools.

The media feeds the controversy until the next "event" and nothing changes.

Australia passed laws when the number killed per year was around 600. We kill that many per week.

If a terrorist killed 90 people in the US, congress would be passing laws like crazy to "protect" us. Yet that many people are killed by guns every day and nothing happens.

I feel guilty when a shooting comes on the news. I'd rather change the channel and watch anything else. Until the 2 sides cure themselves of HUA syndrome nothing will change.
