It does appear to be UK friendly. I've recently downloaded it myself (Galaxy Tab 3) and it does have quite a wide rage of codes - Panny TV, B&W Panorama 2 sound bar, Oppo Blu Ray (no specific Youview codes, but I've used Humax instead). Unfortunately I can't answer your question about the thumbnails, as at present I've really only scratched the surface. Similarly, I left the Pronto scene a number of years ago; might be best to ask for advice in one of the Pronto forums.
