Your iPhone cannot emit Infrared. You'll at least need a "box" to help with this. What is your price sensitivity? Would you be comfortable doing some programming? "Programming" could mean filling out a form and checking a few boxes, or working in a language, such as JavaScript. Do you want a touch screen or a conventional button remote?
