I've uninstalled XP Compatibility Mode and reinstalled the XP Mode software.

This time I was more confident because Integration Features were enabled.

However, it still refuses to recognise the Pronto when it's plugged into any of my 3 USB ports. I believe the reason is this posted by a Microsoft employee in relation to someone having a similar problem ...

Windows 7 XP Mode is not capable of detecting or recognizing USB 3.0 ports on the host system.  It is only capable of detecting and recognizing USB 2.0 ports.
Your system may have separate USB 2.0 external ports and separate USB 3.0 external ports, but XP Mode can only detect, recognize and utilize external USB 2.0 ports.

Does anyone know how I can 'downgrade' a USB3 port to USB2?
Cheers,
Ray.
